Rental conditions

Deposit
We do not ask for a deposit, but you must be able to identify yourself with a valid ID. Pay attention to a minimum age of 23 years when renting a scooter.

Routes
Are you looking for a nice route by bike or scooter; enjoy carefree. We have selected nice routes for you. These can be downloaded online under the heading routes. Of course you can also get them printed out in the store.

Prices
With the product or in the shopping cart you will find the rates for renting a two-wheeler with any accessories. You choose the date and rental period yourself and automatically see the price. The rental price decreases when you rent an item longer. We only rent per day, no half days. The two-wheelers must be returned / collected within the opening hours.

To reserve
You can make a reservation online. A reservation is not final until payment has been made.

Rental conditions

- Rental period see opening times.
If the two-wheelers are returned after the agreed return time, the lessor will charge an additional full day's rent.

-Usage
It is not allowed to drive the bicycle / scooter under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The tenant must comply with the legislation and traffic rules applicable in the Netherlands and is expected to know them. It is forbidden to ride a bicycle with two people.

-Damage / Fines
The lessor has the right to inspect the bicycle / scooter for damage and defects upon return. The renter is liable for all damage to the bicycle/scooter inflicted during the rental period. The tenant bears full legal liability for damage caused to third parties.

-Theft or missing
In the event of theft, embezzlement and/or failure to return the bicycle/scooter, a report will be made to the police. In addition, the rent owed and the current value of the rental bicycle / scooter will be charged, at the expense of the tenant.

-Defective
In the event of a defect in the bicycle or scooter, the lessor must be informed. An attempt will be made to arrange a replacement two-wheeler. The bicycle should never be left unattended, provided this has been discussed with the lessor. The renter will handle the delivered two-wheeler with care.

Cancellation

1. If an agreement is canceled by the tenant, we will charge the following cancellation costs:

• in case of cancellation up to the 30th day (exclusive) before the day of rental: the deposit with a maximum of 10% of the rent;
• in case of cancellation from the 30th day (inclusive) to the 7th day (exclusive) before the day of rental: 30% of the rent;
• in case of cancellation from the 7th day (inclusive) to the 3rd day (exclusive) before the day of rental: 50% of the rent;
• in case of cancellation from the 3rd day (inclusive) to 1 day (exclusive) before the day of rental: 90% of the rent;
• in case of cancellation from less than 1 day before the day of rental: the full rent.

2. Cancellations outside office hours will be handled as if they were made on the next calendar day.
3. The cancellation must be in writing.
4. In case of cancellation up to 1 day before the day of rental, the delivery costs will be credited in full.
